PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has removed the internet broadband tax on mobiles.
The KP government had directed KPITB MD Sheryar Khan to submit proposals on the matter so that it can remove 19.5% tax on mobile broadband.
Before this, in Jan 2016, the digital publishers demanded the KP govt to remove 19.5% tax on mobile broadband and data services to give relief to mobile phone users of the province same as the Punjab and Sindh govts did.
