KPCCI approves organizing of “Made in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” expo

PESHAWAR: The executive committee (EC) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chamber of Commerce and   Industry (KPCCI) has approved the organizing of trade-expo on titled: “Made in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” and investment conference, aiming at to promote locally manufacturing products in benefiting manner, besides to attract investment in the province.

The committee meeting was held under president of KPCCI Zulfiqar Ali Khan in chair at the chamber house here on Friday, which also attended by the chamber vice presidents Hammad Rashid, Shuja Muhammad, former president Ghazanfar Bilour, Riaz Arshad, Zahidullah Shinwari, and members of the committee.

The meeting approved the additional seats of Corporate group and Associate group, which will be implemented in the next year. In the meeting, a committee was formed for Business Excellence Award, which will be headed by former president Riaz Arshad, while Pervez Khan Khattak, has been nominated for FPCCI committee managing committee, and Haji Muhammad Fazal for general body through resolutions, which was unanimously approved by participants of the meeting.

KPCCI president invited the local and foreign invertors to make investment in hydel generation projects along with trade and commerce in the province.  He said the holding of ‘Made in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’ and investment conference will give further boost to economy of the province. Besides, he added the initiatives would develop of a soft-image of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in rest of the world, and would also bolster the investors in the province.
