KPRA sets up tax facilitation centre in Abbottabad

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) has established a Regional Tax Facilitation (RTC) centre for filing services tax returns.

KPRA has set up its first tax facilitation centre in Abbottabad to facilitate taxpayers in filing their services tax returns timely, according to a press release.

KPRA Director General Muhammad Tahir Orakzai said the facilitation is aimed to broaden the tax net and is a part of KPRA’s revenue strategy of reforms with special focus on taxpayer facilitation.

He said the centre is situated within the vicinity of business and commercial centres and is easily accessible to taxpayers located in Naran, Mansehra, Galyat, etc, where maximum number of taxpayers can avail the facility.
