KARACHI: The benchmark KSE-100 index lost 57.94 points or 0.17 percent and reached at 33956.32 points on Tuesday’s early trading amid unending fuel shortage following the persistent energy crisis in the country.
A day earlier, the Karachi Stock Exchange had gained 286 points or 0.85 per cent with the benchmark 100-index reaching an all-time high of 34,072 points due to recovery in global oil prices and an anticipation of a 50 to 100 basis points cut in the interest rate by the SBP on January 24.
