KSE bids to recoup overnight losses in early trading, adds 102pts

KARACHI: Despite observing a bearish day, the Karachi Stock Exchange Tuesday added 102.27 points in early trading to reach 32860.09 points level, with the total volume of 5,685,850 shares.

On Monday, none of the indexes entered the green zone as uncertainty over power of Rangers in Karachi dented the investor’s confidence and the benchmark KSE-100 index fell 1.70% (-551.09 points) during the day. The index recovered in the last half hour of trading to close down 0.89% (-290.69 points) at 32,757.82. KMI 30 shed 469.02 points to end at 54,408.10 points while KSE All Share shrunk 0.93% to end day at 22,707.11.
