KSE closes lower having 42525.93 points

KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Monday having 42525.93 points with a negative change of 323.19 and volume of 258,660,870 shares.

High and Low were 43084.67 and 42400.30 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 554,304,120 shares with 403 total traded companies out of which 155 were up 235 were down and 13 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 147,641,500 shares. It was followed by TRANSPORT with a total traded volume of 54,831,500 shares.

The three top traded companies were B.O.Punjab with a volume of 62,677,500 and price per share of 19.81 (0.22), P.I.A.C.(A) with a volume 47,117,500 of price per share of 11.64 (0.20), Summit Bank with a volume 42,674,000 of price per share of 4.20 (0.45).

The top three advancers were Abbott Lab. with price per share 897.35 (22.50), Atlas Battery price per share of 859.90 (16.98) and Exide (PAK) share of 902.15 (14.15).

The top three decliners were Nestle PakistanXD with price per share of 8310.50 (253.50), Philip Morris Pak. with price per share of 1856.13 (83.89) and Service Ind.Ltd share of 1359.60 (47.91).
