KSE dips 0.68% as 100-index sheds 237pts to drop to 34473

KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange remained in negative note till midday on Monday as 100-index dipped 0.68 per cent, dropping 237.21 points to reach 34473 points level.

The stock recorded the maximum trading level at 34739.59 points and minimum level at 34448.29 points, with the total volume of 203,192,350 shares, having Rs7,108,239,916 value.

Earlier, the Karachi Stock Exchange witnessed negative note, when it opened as 100-index shed 84 points to reach 34626.28 points level.

On Monday, the KSE benchmark 100-index gained 59.00points or 0.17 percent to reach 34710.29 points and volume of 364,949,260 shares. Total volume traded in the market was 568,075,350 shares with 384 total traded companies out of which 189 were up 171 were down and 24 were unchanged.
