KSE gains 46pts to reach 33902 till midday

KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange Monday gained 45.92 points to reach 33902.92 points till midday.

The market recorded the highest trading level of 33908.40 points and lowest level of 33829.11 points, with the total volume of 73,179,080 shares. As many as 289 companies were active; of which 140 advanced, 142 declined and 7 remained unchanged.

Commercial banks were the top traded sector with total traded volume of 14,349,700 shares. It was followed by oil & gas marketing companies with a total traded volume of 13,240,850 shares.

The three top traded companies were Sui South Gas with a volume of 7,393,000 and price per share of 41.93 (1.99), Sui North Gas with a volume 5,589,500 of price per share of 31.25 (0.16), Pak Refinery with a volume 2,814,500 of price per share of 53.61 (0.88).

The top three advancers were Ferozsons (Lab) with price per share 926.89 (44.13), Murree BreweryXD with price per share of 1034.90 (43.17) and Exide (PAK) share of 1041.00 (34.14).

The top three decliners were NoonPakNonVot with price per share of 237.01 (-9.95), Punjab OilXD with price per share of 260.00 (-9.00) and J.D.W.Sugar per share of 314.00 (-6.00).
