KARACHI: The Karachi stocks lost the early gains and went to red zone till midday as 100-index lost 24.72 points to drop to 33774 points.
The Karachi Stock Exchange at a point crossed 34000 barrier, by gaining 217 points. The stock recorded the maximum trading level 34021.07 points and minimum level of 33742.85 points, with the total volume of 80,089,260 shares, having Rs4,707,562,968 value.
Earlier, the KSE Wednesday started positive and gained 36.93 points to reach 33835.73 points level.
On Tuesday, the stock market bounce back as the benchmark KSE-100 Index posted a gain of 698.48 points to close at 33,798.80 points. The index made an intra-day high of 2.22pc, to close at 2.11pc up with handsome volumes of 395 million shares, with value Rs19b.
