KSE maintains upward momentum; 100-index adds 243pts

KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index added 243.18 points to take the tally to 34552.94 points level till midday on Thursday.

The stock witnessed the highest trading level of 34568.40 points and lowest level of 34309.76 points, with the total volume of 63,957,120 shares, having Rs4,013,167,261 value.

Earlier, the Karachi stocks, in a bid to recoup overnight losses, gained 151.57 points to reach 34461.33 points level.

On Wednesday, the Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index lost 146.58 points or 0.43 per cent to reach 34309.76 points and volume of 125,686,540 shares. High and low were 34456.34 and 34122.19 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 125,686,540 shares.
