LAHORE: The Karachi Stock Exchange witnessed fluctuation in early trading on Monday as 100-index shed 22.79 points to reach 35914.54 points level, with the total volume of 41,452,140 shares.
Last week, volatility continued at the Karachi stock market mainly because of MQM’s resignations from all three levels of the parliament and pressure on global equities amid devaluation of the Chinese Yuan. As a result, the KSE-100 index closed the week 0.8% WoW lower with average daily volumes clocking in 13% WoW higher at 333m shares/day while foreigners remained net buyers worth $0.9 million.
