KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange Tuesday witnessed variation in early trading, however, KSE-100 index remained in green zone, by adding 22.12 points to reach 32966.60 points.
The stocks, at one stage, gained 255 points and also shed 124 points in the first session as total volume remained 21,572,480 shares.
On Monday, the KSE nosedive during intra-day trading as the benchmark KSE 100-Index declined 946.60 points or 2.79pc to settle at 32,944.48 points.
Falling volume is also a concern for speculators. Volume on Friday touched 10 weeks low and Monday’s volume was 218m shares of Rs.10.6b ($102m) shares which is lower than average of 286m shares of value of Rs.13b ($130m) for this year, researchers at Topline Securities stated.
