KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange Wednesday witnessed fluctuations in trading as 100-index dropped the early gains, however, it remained in positive zone till midday.
The stock recorded the highest trading level of 34531.71 points and lowest level of 34196.24 points, with the total volume of 108,127,800 shares, having Rs7,087,110,647 value.
The three top traded companies were PTCL with a volume of 14,442,000 and price per share of 21.20 (0.46), K-Electric Ltd with a volume 11,404,000 of price per share of 8.15 (0.05), Byco Petroleum with a volume 8,070,500 of price per share of 14.39 (0.37).
Earlier, bullish trend continued as Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark KSE-100 index added another 260.17 points to reach 34530.45 points level.
On Tuesday, the KSE gained 119.17 points or 0.35 percent to reach 34270.28 points. Total volume traded in the market was 403,610,860 shares with 369 total traded companies out of which 173 were up 168 were down and 28 were unchanged.
