KSE sheds 105pts, down 0.32% to end week in red zone

KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index lost 105.18 points or 0.32 percent to reach 33263.66 points and volume of 87,833,650shares on last day of trading, Friday.

The benchmark KSE-100 index continued its upward rally and gained 53 points to reach 33422 points with total volume of 44,639,420 shares till midday on Friday, the last trading day.

Earlier, KSE-100 index started with positive note, gaining 48 points or 0.14 per cent and reached 33416.89 points.

On political end, the ruling party PML-N has swept in Punjab in Senate elections, which has further boosted confidence of the investors.

The High and Low were 33474.06 and 33239.43 points respectively with the total volume traded in the market of 87,833,650.
