KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange Monday witnessed variation in trading till midday as KSE-100 index gained 14 points to reach 32983.74 points level.
The KSE recorded the highest trading level of 33058.13 points and lowest level of 32894.00 points as total volume remained 42,265,690 shares, having Rs2,911,941,604 volume.
Earlier, the stocks opened with negative note as Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark KSE-100 index shed 11.92 points to reach 32957.81 points.
On Friday, healthy activity was seen at the bourse throughout the day, as the market continued to gain on positive momentum of the preceding session and ended 0.67% up. The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE)-100 index gained 219.42 points to close at 32,969.73 points as compared to 32,750.31 of the previous session. The KSE-30 Index added 151.15 points and closed at 19,774.73 points against 19,623.57 points of the last closing.
