KUWAIT CITY: The Border Customs at one of the land borders recently foiled an attempt by an Asian trucker to smuggle 1,800 narcotic pills into the country, officials said here the other day.
The pills were reportedly discovered by sniffer dogs which were hidden in a secret compartment of the truck. The contraband and the smuggler have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control.
