LAHORE: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Saturday paid rich tributes to the Pakistan Armed forces for their successful operation against terrorists at PAF Base Peshawar saying that such ugly acts of terrorism cannot let the moral of nation down.
The LCCI president Ijaz A. Mumtaz, senior vice president Mian Nauman Kabir and vice president Syed Mahmood Ghaznavi said that security forces once again proved that they would not allow the anti-Pakistan elements to take hostage the innocent people.
They said that their precious blood would not go waste. They said that whole nation stands united behind the armed forces and would not hesitate in offering any sacrifice to remove the menace of terrorism.
The LCCI president stressed the need of unveiling those who are helping the terrorists and all segment of society should play their role to this regard.
He said that the government needs to review its policy on terrorism to curb this menace once for all. He urged the government to convene a roundtable of all the political parties and business community to make a consensus policy to cope with terrorism.
