LHC approves bail of Taufiqe Butt, others in gold, currency smuggling case

LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) accepted the temporarily bail of accused Muhammad Tafique Butt and two others suspects till November 17, in gold and foreign currency smuggling  case.

According to details. Justice Abdus Sami Khan heard the gold and foreign currency smuggling case against the three accused namely Muhammad Tafique Butt, Muhammad Nadeem and Sher Ali.

The counsel of accused party argued before the court that Customs Investigation and Prosecution wing registered a case of 1300 tolas of gold, and foreign currency smuggling on May 20, 2015.

He argued that the case against his client is baseless and he want to prove before the court that his client is not guilty.

After hearing the arguments of both parties the court finally accepted the temporarily bail of accused till November 17.
