LHC cancels bail of accused smuggler after finding guilty

LAHORE: Lahore High Court cancelled the bail of an accused involved in smuggling of auto parts worth Rs 8.5 million and tax evasion amounting to Rs 5.5 million.

As per details, Customs Intelligence had arrested the accused on smuggling and tax evasion charges who was allegedly found in smuggling of auto parts.

The accused Rashid Mehmood was on bail in the said case, while the court conducted hearing to decide the case where he found guilty on which court cancelled his bail.
