LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) sought reply from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) in Arabia Airline case.
According to the details, Justice Shahid Kareem heard appeal filed by the Arabia Airline in which the counsel for appellant argued that Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has collecting tax from the airlines and taxpayers has paid Rs4 million to PRA but now Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has sent notice to the appellant court may orders to transfer taxation amount from the account of PRA to FBR.
After hearing the arguments LHC order to FBR and PRA to submit reply in same case and court has adjourned till 29th November.
In another case, advocate of Lahore High Court (LHC) Azhar Saddique issued notice to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and seeks the details about tax amount paid by companies established by the Punjab government. He also seeks the audit reports by FBR in companies’ cases.
