LAHORE: Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah of the Lahore High Court (LHC) has suspended the implementation of notices issued by the Inland Revenue commissioner.
According to details, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah directed to combine all the petitions filed on the same issue and also suggested to form a divisional bench to hear this issue. The petitioner, Mohammad Mohsin Virk advocate, filed a plea in the LHC stating that the Inland Revenue issued them notices vide taxpayer section 177 which is totally illegal.
He further prayed to the court to declare all these notices as null and void. After hearing the arguments, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah directed to suspend implementation on these notices and also directed to form a two-member division bench headed by Justice Abid Aziz Shaikh.
