LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has suspended the notification regarding anti-dumping duty on import of color steel sheets.
On 1.10.2018 during hearing the counsel for the appellant Shafqat Mehmood Chohan appeared on behalf of appellant and argued that the assessment notification issued by the National Tariff Commission (NTC) is beyond the law and violates the right of importers.
Adding more the assessment notification of National Tariff Commission is on his own will not according to the demands of importers so the court may declare the same as null.
After hearing the arguments from appellant side, Lahore High Court (LHC) has suspended the notification and sought reply from National Tariff Commission on next date of hearing.
