During the proceedings, counsel of appellant Muhammad Mohsin Virk appeared on behalf of the Ravi Advertising Company and argued that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) had suspended sales tax registration of the company illegally.

He further added that in case of suspension, the FBR has violated the sales tax registration rules adding sales tax rules bound the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to implement all the relevant rules and regulations within 90 days of suspension, but the Federal Board of Revenue is not following the sales tax registration rules and also not giving a chance to the company for arguments. He appeals for the suspension of order of the FBR regarding sales tax registration of the Ravi Advertising Company.

On the other side, departmental representative appeared before the court and argued that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) follows all the rules regarding the case of the Ravi Advertising Company and nothing is illegal in the case. He appeals before the court for the rejection of appeal.

After hearing the arguments from both sides, the Lahore High Court has suspended the order given by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
