FAISALABAD: Engineer Rizwan Ashraf, President of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), has said that lifting of economic sanctions on Iran would play a major role in the economic uplift of regional countries, including Pakistan.
Welcoming the landmark agreement between Iran and world powers, he said that it has brightened the chances for Pakistan to get much needed gas to overcome its energy crisis.
He stressed early completion of Pak-Iran gas project so that Pakistan could get 750 MMCF gas positively before the coming winter season when the entire indigenous gas will be diverted to the domestic users at the cost of productive industrial sector.
