LSE sheds 28.25 pts to reach 6127.03 pts

LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Tuesday witnessed bearish trend by losing 28.25 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 6155.28 points and closed at 6127.03 points.

The market’s overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 2.286 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.452 million shares, showing a upward move of 834,050 shares.

While, out of the total 93 active scrips, 18 moved up, 23 shed values and 52 remained equal.

The Major Gainer of the day was Engro Corporation Limited, Pioneer Cement Limited and Maple Leaf Cement Factory by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 4.68, Rs 4.40 and Rs 3.66 respectively.

Attock Refinery Limited, Netsol Technologies Limited and Treet Corporation Limited lost their per share value by Rs 5.85, Rs 2.87 and Rs 2.50 respectively.

Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Silk Bank Limited with 1.027 million shares, Pace Pakistan Limited with 253,000 shares and K-Electric Limited with 135,500 shares.
