Mainwali ASO seizes smuggled Hino truck‏

FAISALABAD: The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO), Mianwali, has seized foreign origin Hino truck. The market value of seized vehicle is Rs 30,00,000 involving duty and taxes of Rs 630,000.

Sources told Customs Today Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Collector Zulfikar Ali received a credible information regarding the vehicle. He immediately constituted a raiding party comprising Bashir Hussain, Bashir Ahmad (inspectors ), Abdul Hamid, Muhammad Amin, Muhammad Ashraf, Shafqat Mehmood, Naeem ullah, Muhammad Mansha, Muhammad Feroz, Safdar Ali, Muhammad Iqbal (sepoys).

The ASO team intercepted a Hino truck bearing registration No. TKA-690 near Toll Plaza Khushab Road Vegowal and asked its driver who was identified as Abdul Bari son of Abdul Kareem resident of district Pishin to produce legal documents of truck.

The driver of the vehicle failed to produce any legal documents of Hino truck. The ASO team seized the truck and registered a case against the accused person.
