Majority of FBR officials fails to submit assets’ details

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has announced July 31 as the last date for the officials to submit the details of assets. The deadline is going to expire today, but still a majority of the FBR officials has failed to submit the same.

Sources told Customs Today, that a few months ago, the FBR had asked its officials to submit details of their assets as it was mandatory to submit the same to get promotions but the department received no positive response to their advice.

Now the FBR has again asked its officials to submit the details of their assets before 31st of July, 2015 but a majority of the officials still avoiding submitting the details.  The department reminds them that strict action will be taken against those officials who do not submit their assets details.

Sources said that may be some officials are afraid of submitting the same as inquiries are still in progress against them.
