MCC Islamabad generates Rs22.66m more duties & taxes than last year’s

ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Islamabad collected Rs22.66million extra revenue during 15 days of September Financial Year (FY) 2017-18 under all heads of duties and taxes against the same period of previous FY16-17.

According to details given by Deputy Collector MCC Islamabad Shahid Jan that performance looks better during the initial 15 days of September FY17-18 against the same period of past FY16-17. During said period, the Customs Collectorate Islamabad generated Rs356.76million of all duties and taxes while the MCC Islamabad did Rs334.10million under the same head during the first 15 days of September FY16-17.
Deputy Collector told CT that the MCC Islamabad showed 6.78% growth against the assigned proportional revenue collection target for September FY17-18. The collectorate is trying hard to meet its allocated revenue target for 1st quarter (July to September) FY17-18.
