MCCI elections will be held on Sept 28

MULTAN: The annual elections of the Mutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) for the year 2015-16 are going to be held on September 28, 2015 (Monday) at  the registered office of the Chamber at  10am.

The executive committee will elect the office bearers as president, senior vice-president and vice-president for the year 2015-16. According to sources, there are chances that office bearers will be elected with the consensus of the executive committee. The results may be announced on the same day.

The newly elected members will take charge of their offices on September, 30 (Wednesday) and they will perform their new assignments from October 1, 2015 to September. 30, 2016.

The polling for the election of women reserved seat will also be held on September 28 and the executive committee will be the electoral college for this seat.

Currently, Mian Iqbal Hassan, Mian Muhammad Alamgir Khan and Mirza Ali Ahmad are working as a resident, senior vice-president and vice-president respectively.
