BERLIN: DMC has developed a new special body kit for the long gone McLaren MP4-12C. It may have left production a year ago in order to make room for its successor, the 650S, but that doesn’t mean that it is good for the scrap yard. We are talking about the McLaren MP4-12C, a British supercar which was rivaling the Lamborghini Gallardo and the Ferrari 458 Italia. The model in question has went through some modifications performed by DMC recently. This is basically an updated version of the Velocita program, adding a new front lip spoiler, a roof mounted scoop, corner canards, a new grille and several other tweaks, all of them made from carbon fiber.

Modifications aren’t stopping here because the British supercar has also received the new rear wing, a rear diffuser, a fresh set of 21-inch diamond forged alloy wheels and a pure titanium exhaust system. No performance modifications have been performed to the MP4-12C so this is still using the same 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine in the same 592 HP (441 kW) and 601 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to a 7-speed automatic dual clutch transmission, sending power to the rear wheels and allowing the model to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3 seconds before achieving a top speed of 333 km/h (207 mph).
