FBR Spokesperson Dr Iqbal extends Eid greetings on behalf of FBR chief, PM’s aide

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Strategic Planning, Reforms and Statistics memeber and Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Iqbal has extended best wishes to officials of all field formations on Eidul Fitr.

The member also congratulated FBR staff for achieving the set revenue target of outgoing fiscal year 2015-16. He congratulated the staff on the behalf of Advisor to PM on Revenue Haroon Akhtar Khan, FBR Chairman Nisar Mohammad Khan regarding two happiness i.e. Eid and achieving target.

He also hoped that the FBR will meet the revenue target of new fiscal year without revising down it, adding that the staff of field formations will perform its level best in the year.

Iqbal said while giving a special message, “Eid has brought two occasions for joy for FBR officials and we are thankful to Almighty Allah who bestowed success on us”. “Surpassing target is a result of a team work and its credit goes to PM advisor, FBR chairman and all other staffers of the FBR,” he said.

“We should pray for the development of Pakistan on Eid day and promise ourselves to work for it honestly,” he said, adding, “no one can hamper the growth of Pakistan if everyone plays its due role”. “We have to promote tax culture in order to realise the dream of a prosperous country.”

Advisor Haroon Akhtar Khan, Chairman Nisar Muhammad Khan and all officials are striving to make the FBR an exemplary organization, he further said.
