Mianwali ASO seizes non-duty paid Mazda T- 3500.

FAISALABAD: The Anti Smuggling Organization Mianwali seized smuggled Mazda T-3500 bearing Registration No. LES-14-123 model 1194 worth Rs 1800000, involving duty and tax worth Rs 400000.

Sources told Customs Today that Faisalabad Collector Dr Zulafqar Ali Chaudhary received credible information that some non-duty paid and smuggled vehicles are plying on the roads.

After which Collector Faisalabad formed a raiding team comprising Safdar Ali, Asif Hussain (inspector) Muhammad Nazim (UDC), Riasat Ali (driver ), Said Rasool, Faiz Ahmad and Mohyuddin (sepoys).

The ASO team following the information intercepted a Mazda near Kundain more M.M Road district Mainwali. The ASO team asked owner of the vehicle to produce legal documents regarding possession of the vehicle, but he failed to produce the same.

After which the ASO team also arrested accused who was identified as Muhammad Suleman son of Saleem Khan and registered a case against him.
