NEW YORK:Michael L. Gaylor has been apopointed CEO of the Leadership Broward Foundation, which provides leadership programs and services to develop business and community leaders.Gaylor is a senior executive with more than 25 years’ experience in the management of nonprofit organizations. Before coming to Leadership Broward, he was executive director for the Barrett Foundation in Albuquerque, N.M.
Gaylor also has served as executive director of All Faiths Receiving Home, a social service organization; director of institutional advancement and president of Menaul School, a private, college preparatory school; vice president for leadership with the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce; and director of schools and community partnerships with Albuquerque Public Schools.
Gaylor also has led development efforts including annual fund drives, capital campaigns, major gift solicitation and grant writing.A resident of Coconut Creek, he received his doctorate from the University of New Mexico in organizational learning and instructional technologies, with a focus on workplace training and curriculum design.
