Midday: KSE sheds early gains, remains in green zone

KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchanged added 49.26 points to take the tally to 33841.63 points level till midday on Friday.

The stocks witnessed the highest trading level at 34017.80 points and lowest level at 33792.37 points. The volume of market remained 33,850,680 shares, with Rs2,719,483,832 value.

Earlier, the Karachi stocks, in a bid to recoup overnight losses, gained 178 points to reach 33970.43 points level in early trading on Friday, the last trading day.

On Thursday, the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE)-100 index lost 37.99 points to close at 33,792.37 points as compared to 33,830.36 of the previous session. The KSE-30 Index shed 54.34 points and closed at 20,572.53 points against 20,626.87 points of the last closing.
