MULTAN: The Border Military Police (BMP) has impounded six vehicles worth Rs 12 million in Sakhi Sarwar, a tribal area 40 kilometres away from Dera Ghazi Khan, on Wednesday on the tip-off of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan.
As per details, the BMP on the tip-off of the Customs Intelligence confiscated six vehicles including four Toyota Corolla-X, one BMW car and one Surf jeep of worth Rs 12 million in the tribal area of Sakhi Sarwar near DG Khan. The confiscated vehicles will be handed over to the Customs Intelligence in the next few days.
It is reported that the chassis numbers of four X-Corolla cars have been distorted so the officials are sending the cars for laboratory checking to verify the genuine chassis number. The value of the four cars is Rs 5 million whereas the BMW car and Surf jeep are worth of Rs 7 million.
