NEW DELHI: Motorola introduced its Moto Hint headset along with second-generation Moto G and Moto X smartphones; it has now quietly launched the accessory’s next-gen version. The new Moto Hint is available to buy from Best Buy e-commerce website at $129.99 (roughly Rs. 8,200), which is $19 (roughly Rs. 1,200) less than what the first-gen version was priced at the time of launch.

The second gen Moto Hint is a definitive upgrade over its previous version. The device includes Bluetooth 3.0 + EDR technology alongside a slightly improved design for enhanced audio. Apart from an advanced voice control, the highlight of the accessory is the bumped-up battery life. Motorola is claiming its the new Moto Hint comes with 70 percent more talk time than its predecessor, which is 17 hours of talk time on a single charge. It also comes with CrystalTalk noise- and wind-cancelling technologies.

Moto Hint comes with a charging case and a charging cable. However, the new model is only available in black colour variant instead of six different colour options seen in the original Hint.

The Moto Hint wireless earbuds lets users hear notifications, make calls, get directions, perform quick search, and send messages without accessing the handset. In addition, the Moto Hint uses an IR proximity sensor on its inner side to turns off automatically when the user takes off the device. The calls are then routed back on the user’s smartphone. The Moto Hint also features a ‘pass-through’ audio technology, that lets users hear outside noise without any blockage.
