Mian Abdul Basit provided insights into the features of the software, emphasizing that it would revolutionize the income tax tribunal system. He highlighted that the new software would allow lawyers to access case details and essential information in seconds, streamlining the entire process.

He also acknowledged the efforts of the Chairman of the Tribunal, Tauqir Aslam, whose guidance played a crucial role in launching the software in Multan. This move, he stated, positions Multan Bench as a leader in online appeal and case management software, setting a precedent across Pakistan.

Malik Khadim Hussain Metla, President of the Tax Bar, described the computerization of the appeal management system as a historic milestone. He proudly stated that Multan had taken the lead in launching the software ahead of Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad, demonstrating the remarkable professional capabilities of the lawyers from South Punjab. He extended his special gratitude to Chief Justice of Lahore High Court, Justice Aliya Neelum, and the Session Judge of Multan for their support in organizing the event.

In his address, Metla raised concerns over the recent appointments of judges to the Income Tax Tribunal, noting that lawyers from South Punjab were completely overlooked, fueling a sense of deprivation among them. He urged the Chief Justice of Pakistan and the Federal Minister for Law to ensure the inclusion of a quota for South Punjab lawyers in future judicial appointments.

At the end of the event, Chairman of the Education Committee, Muhammad Imran Ghazi, distributed certificates to students who successfully completed a three-week course on legal proceedings related to tax laws, organized by the Multan Tax Bar.

The event was attended by a large number of members from the Multan Tax Bar, along with delegations from the Rahim Yar Khan, Khanewal, Bahawalpur, and Vehari Tax Bars.
