Muhammad Hanif given additional charge of Sialkot zone-I

SIALKOT: Customs Collector Ahmed Reza Khan has given acting charge of Modal Customs house Sialkot zone-I to Deputy Collector Muhammad Hanif due to two months leave of Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir Choudhary.

However Deputy Collector Muhammad Hanif will check the matters of Model Customs House Camp Office Sialkot, Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO), Rebate refund claims, Preventive, Anti Narcotics Forces and Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) during leave of Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir Choudhary.

Deputy Collector Muhammad Hanif told Customs Today that Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir Choudhary is on leave and I performing his duty on acting basis whereas all subordinate staff is co-operating with me during leave of Assistant collector. He said that our work is continue for the betterment of country and our work will never stop because we work to expand the export from Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT).

He said that the collection of revenue make a cause to strengthen the national exchequer. He said that the department has warned to all officials that they should work honestly otherwise all corrupt officials will be free from service. He said that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has kept deeply eyes on corrupt officials whereas the departmental secret wing is also watching corrupt officials. He said the Chairman FBR Nisar Muhammad Khan has intimated all Collectorate customs that don’t spare corrupt officers and officials rather tighten noose around the corrupt officers and officials. However Deputy Collector transferred Inspector Sheikh Ikram to Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) from ASO Zone-I  and transfer Inspector Muhammad Amjad from SDPT to ASO Zone-I. The transferred inspectors have relinquished charges and assumed charges of new designation. Whereas Superintendent Muhammad Naeem Khan will perform duty in ASO Zone-I while Superintendent Sardar Manzoor will also perform duty in recovery branch with airport duty.
