Multan Adjudication decides 64 seizure cases worth Rs167.759m

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office finalized 64 seizure cases involving Rs167.759 million during the month of September 2020-21.

The Collectorate of Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office settled 64 cases forwarded by Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) and Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation during their actions. Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office has issued Order-in-Original (ONO) in 64 seizure cases after completion of legal proceedings on the basis of presented facts.

Deputy Collector Customs Adjudication Multan Abdul Mueed Kanjoo settled 31 seizure cases worth Rs12.530 million throughout September after concluding legal proceedings.

Deputy collector settled all seizure cases in favour of Customs department for the duration of September. Almost 34 fresh seizure cases of Rs13.410 million have been added during the month of September in the Customs Adjudication.

Additional Collector Adjudication Sumaira Omer decided 19 seizure cases worth Rs34.300 million throughout September 2020-21.

Additional Collector has settled all said seizure cases in favor of Customs after examining all facts during trial in September. Near about 12 new seizure cases of Rs23.605 million were added for trial in the court of Additional Collector Adjudication during September.

Collector Adjudication Asif Buzdar settled 14 different seizure cases of worth Rs120.929 million for the duration of September. All these seizure cases were decided in the favor of Customs department.

These decided seizures were against violation of rule, smuggling, misuse of DTRE export facility cases and others. As many as 11 different seizure cases of worth Rs.83.672 million was added during said month for legal trial.
