Multan Adjudication issues show cause to owner of M/s Beco Steel ‏

MULTAN: The Customs Adjudication has issued a show cause notice to the owner in seized compressors case and ask him to explain his position.

According to details, the Customs intelligence and investigation had seized a container of M/s Beco Steel Re-Rolling (Private) Limited Lahore after verification of documents.

The seized container was loaded with a huge quantity of used serviceable compressors of refrigerators. The compressors were packed in nylon bags and 3,250 serviceable compressors of the fridges were recovered from the container in the action. The Customs Intelligence forwarded the case to the customs adjudication for further proceedings.

The values of the seized compressors is Rs 6 million. The collector customs adjudication issued served show cause notice to M/s Beco Steel Re-Rolling (Private) Limited Lahore for hearing. The further hearing of the seized compressors  will be held on 2nd May.
