Multan Appraisement withdraws attachment notice against M/s Khan Enterprises

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Appraisement Faisalabad has withdrawn the attachment notice against M/s Khan Enterprises after payment of due taxes.

According to details, Assistant Collector Customs Recovery Appraisement & Facilitation Customs House Jamrud Road Peshawar has requested  Customs Collectorate Appraisement to block their shipment for the recovery of due taxes.

Assistant Collector Customs Recovery has written letter to all field formation of Customs including Multan Customs and Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement Faisalabad that M/s Khan Enterprises cleared three various shipments during month of June on 18th ,23rd and 24th June 2020.

Said importer paid almost Rs.971888/- less than government taxes and Customs Collector (Appraisement & Facilitation issued notices regarding the attachment for the recovery of government dues to meet the assigned revenue task.

M/s Khan Enterprises c/o Arshad Clearing Agency Customs Dry Port Peshawar having national tax number 40212617 & Sales Tax Registration number 2100402126114 was asked to paid short duty taxes immediately. Customs has initiated the recovery proceedings and issued attachment notice to M/s Khan Enterprises.

Therefore the recovery proceedings and all recovery notices and attachment order issued under vide C.no.10267, C.no 9312  and C.no.1380 were withdrawn after the payment of due taxes and directed all Customs Collectorate for withdrawal of notices 1(2) (3) and attachment after payment of taxes adjudged against M/s Khan Enterprises.
