MULTAN: Commissioner Income Tax Multan, Zubair Bilal has chaired a meeting regarding creating awareness among potential non-filers traders with reference to which the federal government has launched Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme (VTCS).
While addressing the business community of Muzaffargarh at Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) hall, Zubair Bilal has explained the reasons, objectives, features and benefits of the scheme.
He said that VTCS is basically traders friendly and an easy way for non-filers to pay tax and the business community can get maximum benefits from this scheme as it will start from February 29, 2016.
He said that the number of tax payers will increase with the introduction of this scheme and RTO Multan would help the traders at every step in order to achieve the goals of the scheme.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Income Tax Muaffergarh, Misbah Nawaz said, ‘the doors of my office are opened for tax payers and who have any problem regarding tax and amnesty scheme can make contact me and my staff at any time without any hesitation’
Mumtaz Babar, Ameer Hassan, Amir Salim, Javed Akhtar, Abid Hussain, Riaz Dogar, Syed Shahid Ahmad, Aslam Pasha, Riaz-Ud-Din Siddique, Shan Sheikh, Abdul Rehman, Fiaz Jatoi, Ramzan Sheikh and other members of different local trade unions have attended the meeting and appreciated the efforts of RTO Multan in respect of amnesty scheme.
