MULTAN: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range office has generated Rs 25.12 million from the auction of seized vehicles and miscellaneous goods.
According to details, the Customs Intelligence has sold 10 confiscated vehicles during the public auction which were seized during anti-smuggling activities. The Customs offered 14 seized vehicles, including Toyota Corolla X, Hilux Surf, Corolla G, Prado, Vitz, Land Cruiser for auction. Auto parts, welding rods, tyres and ball bearings were also auctioned. Additional Director Customs Nisar Ahmad supervised the auction process along with Superintendent Fareed ud Din Masood.
In another auction, Anti-Smuggling Organization has also earned Rs.5.7 million from the auction of seven seized vehicles and miscellaneous goods. Cell Phones and Pesticides chemicals auctioned were not offered any bid due to non-interest of the participants.
