Multan Customs collects Rs 7,075.8 million revenue during June ‏ 2016

MULTAN: The customs collectorate Multan has collected Rs 7,075.8 million throughout the month of June 2016.

The customs collectorate was assigned Rs 5,611.220 million tax collection target for the month of June. The Multan customs  collected Rs 1,313.430 million against the revenue collection target of Rs 1,871.57 million during the month of June. The collectorate of the Multan Customs has achieved 70 percent of the customs revenue collection target during the month of June. On the other hand, Multan Customs  collected Rs 1,493 million in terms of customs duty during the corresponding year 2014-15.

The collectorate of Multan Customs have collected Rs4012.397 million in terms of sales taxes against the set revenue collection mark of Rs3667.210 million in June. Multan Customs have collected 109 percent sales taxes during June. The customs collectorate Multan had collected Rs.3244.834 million during corresponding month of the fiscal year 2014-15.

The customs collectorate Multan has collected federal excise duty (FED) of Rs9.745 million against set target of Rs37.33 million during the month of June. About 26 percent of the federal excise duty target has been achieved during the month of June. Multan Customs had collected Rs34.025 million federal excise duties during the matching period of the fiscal year 2014-15.

The collectorate of the Multan Customs have collected income tax of Rs93.516 million against the monthly revenue task of Rs35.110 million during the whole month of June. Almost 266 percent of the set target was accomplished during the month of the June .The Customs Collectorate Multan had collected income tax of Rs31.130 million during the corresponding period of the economic year 2014-15.

Multan Customs have collected additional sales tax of Rs8.869 million during the month of June .The customs collectorate have collected petroleum development levy of Rs1637.381 million during June. The collectoate of the Multan customs have surpassed the revenue collection target of the June due to effective collection strategy.
