MULTAN: Customs Intelligence and Investigation has detained four trucks during an anti-smuggling operation in Sakhi Sarwar region.
According to details, Customs Intelligence Dera Ghazi Khan region Field Intelligence Unit (FIU) impounded four trucks loaded with wood, cloth and plastic dana. The trucks were coming from Sakhi Sarwar area.
Customs officials asked them to submit import documents of the goods. The owners have submitted the goods declaration. The Customs has started verification of wood of seems to be of Afghanistan origin.
The detained goods will be released after verification of documents otherwise the customs authorities will seize the same. Verification of documents is still under process.
