MULTAN: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range has generated Rs15.93million through monthly auction of confiscated goods and vehicles lying in the state warehouse.
According to details, the said office held a public sale of confiscated goods and vehicles lying in the warehouse of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range. A number of participants have taken part in the bidding.
Customs Intelligence presented four impounded vehicles, including Toyota Corolla X, Mercedez Benz, Toyota Corolla and Suzuki APV, during an auction of January. Three vehicles were successfully auctioned at Rs2.91million while Mercedez Benz was rejected in the auction due to fewer bids offered as per its average price.
Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan has also auctioned various articles including old and used auto parts, 16700 kilogram of art silk cloths, heavy duty generators, split air-conditioners, mobile phones and dismantled auto parts of 17 vehicles.
Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan has sold various goods at Rs13.02million in January. The net amount generated from the auction of goods and vehicles were Rs15.93million.
Deputy Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Abdul Mueed Kanjoo has supervised the auction along with Superintendent Zahid Raza.
