Multan Customs earns Rs48.32m through auction of vehicles & goods

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement & Compliance (E&C) earned Rs48.32 million from auction of confiscated goods and vehicles.

According to details, Multan Customs has carried out auction of June for selling of confiscated vehicles and goods and displayed auction banners outside Multan Customs House to attract buyers.

Multan Customs adopted special measures in wake of COVID-19 and face mask was mandatory for every person who is willing to participate in auction.

Multan Customs offered 18 foreign origin confiscated vehicles including Toyota Mark X, BMW, Toyota Vitz, Toyota Passo , Toyota Hilux ,Suzuki Alto, Toyota Premio,  Alto, Toyota Crown, Suzuki Swift and others. As many as 15 vehicles were successfully sold out in Rs21.4 million during auction. Three vehicles were rejected due to fewer prices offered by bidders from reserved price during auction.

Multan Customs has also sold out 14 lots of miscellaneous goods including auto spare parts of engines, ball bearings, black pepper, suspension, cloths and other miscellaneous goods in Rs26.92 million during auction.

Assistant Collector Umer Sajjad has supervised the whole auction process of confiscated goods and vehicles at Multan Dry Port to ensure transparency.
