MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Multan orchestrated a successful public auction, raking in an impressive Rs58.12 million in revenue for the month February.
Under the watchful eye of Deputy Collector Fareed ud Din Masood, the auction showcased a diverse array of confiscated goods and vehicles, captivating the attention of bidders far and wide.
The auction featured a selection of high-end vehicles including Honda Civic, Toyota Land Cruiser, and Toyota Prius, which collectively fetched Rs. 6.3 million. Noteworthy was the restriction placed on oil marketing companies, confining their bidding privileges solely to High-Speed Diesel.
In addition to the vehicles, the auction presented a plethora of goods across 23 different lots, ranging from skimmed milk and almonds to spare parts and curtain cloths. Of particular interest were nine lots of miscellaneous goods, which alone contributed a substantial Rs51.82 million to the overall earnings.
The event highlighted the enduring appeal of such auctions, with bidders showing keen interest in a variety of items. Deputy Collector Masood’s meticulous oversight ensured transparency throughout the process, reaffirming Multan Customs’ commitment to upholding integrity and efficiency in revenue generation.
