Multan Customs generates Rs2.34m through auction of perishable items

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement & Compliance has generated Rs2.34 million through auction of perishable items.

Multan Customs has decided to dispose perishable goods through special auction. The special auctions of perishable goods were carried out at Multan Customs House.

Multan Customs has ensured all necessary precautionary measures before organizing the auction to prevent public from Corona spread-out and participants of auction were mandatory to wear face mask and instruction for social distance were followed during auction. Perishable food items are auctioned before its expiry

Almost 8 lots of foreign origin energy drinks Red Bull, Rani Juices, Hit Wafer with milky cream, Lalaei Bulgeria Wafer, Sansa toffee, Kish Shooniz Toffee, Golf Cocoa coconut bar, chamak sandwich biscuit, Chibo UHT Milk Cream, Cow milk cream Baltik-Khama cream brand, skimmed milk, Rani Juices, black tea, mega biz Basil Seed Juice, Pazira fruit bar, Meraj dates were auctioned successfully. Their expiry date is 30th December 2021.  Assistant Collector Aqsa Aslam supervised the whole auction of perishable goods at Multan Customs House along with other staff to ensure transparency.
