Multan Customs generates Rs7.51m through auction of NDP vehicles & goods on Wednesday

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs generated Rs.7.51 million through auction of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods.

According to details, Multan Customs Collectorate conducted public sale in the Dry Port situated at Sher Shah Road where huge number of bidder participated in the auction process. Multan Customs offered nine various non-duty-paid vehicles for public sale including Toyota Land Cruiser, Prado TZ, Toyota Land Cruiser jeep V8, Toyota Premio,Toyota Corolla G, Honda Civic,  Suzuki Sierra jeep, Toyota Hilux Surf, Toyota Vitz and others. Customs Collectorate sold out seven various vehicles in Rs6.2 million after successful bidding during auction. Two vehicles were rejected due to fewer price offered in the bid.

There were 37 various lots of miscellaneous goods including HSD petroleum products, foreign origin medicines, branded cell phones, tyres, foreign origin Close Circuit Camera TV, foreign origin art silk cloth, curtain cloth, plastic valve, dental surgical tools, Samsung brand LED TVs in different model and series, foreign origin LTV and HTV tyres and tubes, auto parts GPS vehicles trackers & car alarming, portable two way radio Walkie Talkie were offered for auction and only 11 lots of miscellaneous goods sold out in Rs.1.31 million.

Assistant Collector Muhammad Ikram supervised the whole auction process alongwith Inspector Zia Bhatti to ensure transparency in the auction.
